How It Works
A plasma facial uses ionised gas — the fourth state of matter — delivered to the surface of your skin as a fine, controlled energy. It doesn’t cut, inject or ablate. What it does is create a mild, deliberate stimulus that your skin reads as a signal to repair itself.
That signal matters because collagen production falls off steadily from your mid-twenties onward, and nothing you apply topically replaces it. The plasma energy prompts fibroblasts — the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin — to get back to work. Over the following days and weeks the skin rebuilds from underneath rather than being resurfaced from above.
Because it works with your biology rather than removing tissue, a plasma facial has no recovery period. Most clients walk out slightly flushed, like they’ve been out in the wind, and that settles within a few hours. The trade-off is that it’s cumulative: one session gives you a noticeable glow, but the structural change comes from a course of 5–6 sessions spaced about three weeks apart.

Nancy assesses your skin type, texture and concerns, reviews your history and current products, and confirms a plasma facial is the right starting point — or points you to something better suited.
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and any makeup removed. A barrier-supporting prep is applied so the plasma energy distributes evenly.
Nancy passes the plasma handpiece over the treatment area in overlapping sections. Most people feel a light warmth and a faint tingle. The full face takes around 45 minutes.
Expect a warm flush and slight tightness, similar to mild windburn. There’s no peeling, no crusting and no need to hide — most clients go straight back to work or out to dinner.
Brightness and smoothness appear within 3–7 days. Firmness builds more gradually as new collagen forms, which is why sessions are spaced roughly three weeks apart.
